Molto Vegas Farmers Market to Re-Open Dec 1

WERE ON! The MVFM is reopening Thursday, December 1 at the Springs Preserve (doors open at 10 a.m.). As your Intuitive Forager, I am travelling throughout California in preparation for the market. note: it is a shame that there are 2 farmers markets downtown competing against each other. Couldn’t this have been worked out????
This from Gina Gavan of Project Dinner Table and the other market (FEED) downtown:
“The Downtown FEED farmer’s market is seasonal and we ended last week so we could be supportive to Molto and specifically not compete. The FEED market will open again in March and we will plan to open later in the afternoon possibly on a Friday so we’re complimenting the markets. ”
Yeah, I get it- the concern we all have is if there is enough demand for two Downtown farmer’s markets, instead of the synergy of one, in a singular location. Let’s hope both of them succeed in spades. I certainly am biased to the FEED downtown market, as I can walk to Dupars and have breakfast. And that is a good thing. Ms. Clasby brings a lot of goodies that we simply cannot obtain locally. So… go to both!
