We’ve always been impressed with Berti of Italy. Old School production of knives with beauty from the handle to the tip, these knives are so extraordinary that Mario Batali uses Berti steak knives exclusively at his Carnevino Restaurant. Higher end Berti knives are even signed by the artisan who manufactures the piece.

COMPENDIO is the name of a beautiful new line of knives from Berti of Italy. A very unique finishing, with satin or matte (or grit) finishing obtained throughout different finishing of surface of same steel and same lucite as other Berti knives. No paint, lacquer, teflon or similar application nor any chemical addition is used in the production; this is an exploration into the different finishing of the steel surface.

Available in black, orange, or ice lucite. Please note that block sets are available in a black lucite knife block only.

Well priced at around $100 per knife and 100% made by Berti inside his factory in Italy. As usual, we suggest hand-washing these knives to keep their beauty.
