Catch a Fire: Hot Product from Used Fire Hoses

Another one of our finds in Europe, this product line is made of ‘recycled’ fire hoses. Fire hose is extremely durable, being made of high-tensile polyester yarn and synthetic rubber. Various different types of hoses are used in fire departments. Hoses in Europe generally are available in red and white versions, although new fluorescent versions are beginning to infiltrate the market. Turn the red and white hoses around and you have a black synthetic rubber to accent or make a black bag.
Belt
All of the products are unique since all of the hoses show the wear and tear of their tough previous life. The material has been dragged through a lot of soot, grease and mud over their years of active firefighting duty and it shows its history proudly. The material often will have various markings notifying the user of the version of the original hose.
Wallet
All of this product is made in Europe with fair working conditions and wages. Any CO2 emissions due to shipment of these products have been compensated through atmosfair.
