We recently were informed that the lighting line of Swarovksi Crystal Palace is now UL Listed.

A combination of art and functional design, Swarovski Crystal Palace has been collaborating with numerous designers in producing lighting, objects, and hanging sculpture using Swarovski crystals.

Some of these collaborations have made it into the general marketplace. Others, like Gaetano Pesce’s undulating Mediterraneo Jellyfish fixture, never made it. Items like the Blossom Chandelier by Tord Boontje have become almost commonplace. The collection, however, has been plagued by re-design and LED upgrading delays, along with the lengthy UL listing process.
Cascade by Vincent van Duysen
The next step of the process, of course, is to have product available for quick shipment in the United States. This issue is currently being addressed; for some fixtures, like the $169,000 Cascade Chandelier by Vincent Van Duysen, stocking quantities may be ill-advised, especially since if I were to purchase this gorgeous fixture I would more than likely want customization.

Which brings us to the last point. Since most of this product borders on the line of Art Form, Swarovski Crystal Palace doesn’t shy away from custom orders.
