Calle Henzel, Aerosol Rug
We are wowed by Calle Henzel. Henzel, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, is an artist who has adapted technology to produce excellent quality hand-tufted rugs featuring his graphic imagery, art, and color palette. The adaptation of new technology into what is essentially an ancient production method enables any design to be produced in a specific, perhaps different colorway and sizing. Similarly, designs may be adapted, for example, to feature sofa placement. The primary rug collection is produced in 100% New Zealand wool, with other designs being produced in silk/viscose blend and 100% silk. The product is suitable for both residential or contract applications.

- X-Module Carpet by Calle Henzel
Another extremely interesting idea by Henzel is the X module system, which consists of ‘X’-shaped carpet assembled from the collection.
Unicahome is expecting our first shipment of Henzel’s rugs for our showroom in late March. Retail pricing on a 55″ x 79″ rug starts at $1945, delivered. Lead time approx. 5-7 weeks.
