Aria at City Center Featuring Patriotic Cocktails!
I was a little carried away with all of the celebrations in Las Vegas this weekend; apologies for being late. I’m not sure if any of you were able to check out these new cocktails at Aria. Made with a Patriotic Twist, they are available at all of the bars.

The City Bar at Aria, City Center, Las Vegas
Old Glory Sweet Tea – Sweet tea Vodka with fresh Sour and pomegranate juice served in a Collins glass garnished with a lemon wheel.
o 2 oz Seagram’s Sweet Tea Vodka
o 2 oz Fresh Sour
o 1 oz Pomegranate juice
o Squeeze frothee, shake and strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. Garnish with lemon wheel.
Independence Caipirinha – Leblon Cachaca with fresh lime and watermelon juice served in a Highball glass, garnished with watermelon
o 2 oz Leblon Cachaca
o 1 oz Rock Candy syrup
o Whole lime (cut into quarters)
o In a mixing glass, muddle lime and rock candy syrup. Add ice and Cachaca. Shake until well blended. Pour entire contents into Highball glass. Top with watermelon.
Freedom Sparkler – Absolut Vodka with fresh strawberries and sparkling wine served in a white wine glass, garnished with one whole strawberry
o Muddle 1 stawberry, cut into chucks with ½ oz Rock Candy Syrup
o Add 1 oz of Absolut Mandarin Vodka
o Shake vigorously with ice
o Strain over fresh ice and top with Sparkling Wine
o Serve in a White Wine glass, garnish with one whole strawberry
Stars and Stripes Mojito – Bacardi Rum with Rock candy, soda and fresh mint, blueberries and raspberries.
o 8-10 Mint leaves
o 3-4 Raspberries
o 4-5 Blueberries
o 1 oz Rock Candy
o Muddle gently in a Collins glass
o Juice of one lime
o Top with ice
o Add 1 ½ oz Bacardi Rum
o Top with ½ soda
o Stir with barspoon to pull leaves throughout
o Garnish with Lime Wheel
