Father’s Day is upon us. Here is a breakdown from MGM of what they have in store on the Strip:
Make dad feel like a king this Father’s Day by treating him to amazing experiences offered by several MGM Resorts International properties. Gifted chefs and luxurious spas at ARIA Resort & Casino, Bellagio, Vdara, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage and Luxor have designed menus and treatments specifically for dad’s big day, giving family members plenty of options for planning their Father’s Day celebration. After enjoying a special meal to celebrate dad, the entire family can head to CSI: The Experience at MGM Grand or Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage as both attractions offer complimentary admission for fathers.
ARIA Resort & Casino
AMERICAN FISH by Michael Mina is ready to spoil dad with a delicious surf and turf meal. This feast includes a Wood-Grilled 18 oz. Bone-In Ribeye, Maine Lobster Tail, Bacon-Wrapped Potatoes and velvety Creamed Corn served in a red wine reduction. The menu is available Sunday, June 19 and is priced at $79. Let dad create his ideal meal with Jean Georges Steakhouse’s a la carte menu featuring Herbed Poached Shrimp and Tarragon, Crispy Bacon Spring Roll, Grilled Beef Tenderloin and the must-have Mac & Cheese. Finish the experience with Bananas Foster or Rum Raisin ice cream. Jean Georges Steakhouse is open from 5 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. and reservations can be made by calling (877) 230-2742.
The Spa & Salon at ARIA invites dad into a peaceful haven while featuring a special Father’s Day Deep Tissue Thai Massage (with complimentary aromatherapy upgrade) and Man Facial (with complimentary eye treatment enhancement). The 80-minute Thai Massage combines Thai Yoga, acupressure work and Swedish-style deep tissue massage therapy and is priced at $250. The 50-minute vitamin infused Man Facial leaves dad’s skin looking ready for the summer and is priced at $165. Both treatments are available from Friday, June 17 through Monday, June 20 and reservations can be made by calling (702) 590-9600.
BELLAGIO
Fountains Brunch at Jasmine adds delicious Smoked Beef Tenderloins with Asian barbeque sauce and gourmet Brioche Doughnuts to its Sunday brunch menu for Father’s Day. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio while also trying the tableside carved Peking Style Duck, Roasted Prime Tenderloin and White Chocolate Brioche French Toast. This Father’s Day brunch at Jasmine is available 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and is priced at $65 per person or $78 per person with unlimited champagne. Le Cirque has created a special five-course prix fixe menu for fathers with a sophisticated palate. Begin your meal with Yuzu Marinated Yellowtail followed by Sauteed Sonoma Foie Gras or Sea Urchin Risotto, Buttered Poached Maine Lobster and an Espelette Crusted Colorado Lamb Chop. Enjoy a classic Baba au Rhum and wild strawberry ice cream at the end of your meal. This menu is available June 19 and is priced at $125 per person. A sommelier wine pairing is available at $65. Continue to treat dad like royalty with Spa & Salon Bellagio’s Fit for a King Package, available throughout the month of June. Dad reigns supreme in his own private room, complete with a television to watch any sporting event or to listen to the sounds of Sinatra, putting him at ease. The experience begins with a Royal Shave, which includes an exclusive aromatherapy treatment and facial massage, specially designed to clarify and rejuvenate the skin. A manicure and moisture renewal hand treatment then eliminates any trace of dryness and is followed by a specialty massage to release stress and tension. MANDALAY BAY
Aureole presents a prix fixe menu created by Executive Chef Vincent Pouessel. This five-course menu includes “Baja” Ahi Tuna Trio, Duo of Sonoma Rabbit, Loupe de Mer and Artichokes Fine Tart and Beef Tenderloin and Maine Lobster surf and turf. Indulge in a Honeycomb Crème Caramel with summer berry tart and pistachio ice cream to finish the meal. The menu is available June 17 –19 from 5:30 – 10:30 p.m. and is priced at $85 in the main dining room and $95 in the Swan Court. A supplemental wine pairing is available for $65. Serving the very best sustainable seafood, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood has added the Surf N Turf 2000 ($95) for Father’s Day. This special menu item provides dad with a 28 oz. 65-day dry aged Tomahawk Ribeye, Kim Chi Buerre Fondue Poached Blue Oasis Shrimp and Watercress Salad. MGM GRAND
Looking for a creative and exciting way to celebrate dad this Father’s Day? From June 17-19, CSI: The Experience at MGM Grand invites families everywhere to bring dad to play the fun, interactive role of crime scene investigator for free. Complimentary tickets are available at the MGM Grand box office next to CSI: The Experience with the purchase of a full-price admission when they mention “Father’s Day Special.” Tickets are valid for same-day visit only and cannot be sold or transferred.
THE MIRAGE
Treat dad to one of the best burger restaurants on The Strip with BLT Burger’s special Prime Rib Burger and $3 pints of BLT Pilsner.
For fathers who prefer to have a plethora of options to choose from, Cravings will surely exceed their expectations. Offering 11 live-action stations, Cravings offers dishes representing various culinary regions. Fathers can enjoy a 50 percent discount (one per table, valid with parties of two or more).
After lunch, enjoy some family fun with dad at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Dads will enjoy a complimentary entry with the purchase of a child’s admission. The Secret Garden is home to the White Lions of Timbavati, The Royal White Tigers of Nevada, both Black and Spotted Leopards, as well as heterozygous Golden Tigers that carry the gene for the white coloration. The Dolphin Habitat serves as home for a family of bottlenose dolphins and guests can enjoy watching the mammals as they frolic and play with each other in the water.
LUXOR
Pyramid Café features two exceptional menu items this Father’s Day. Try the Filet Benedict, poached eggs, thin cut grilled filet on an English muffin topped with hollandaise and steak sauce ($11.99), or the Filet Oscar, grilled filet topped with crab cake, béarnaise sauce, and steak fries ($17.99). Dad can enjoy either of the dishes all weekend from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
