Post Best Buffet in Las Vegas?
on: February 7, 2011, 10:18

I read what Max wrote about the Cosmo's buffet being the best deal in town with great quality. The breakfast and lunch seemed to be the best deal. The dinner was good but for the money the breakfast and lunch were the best. The dinner was expensive: $58/two and you had to pay for drinks. They had king crab and leg of lamb but I still felt that breakfast and lunch won hands down. Desserts were kick ass, by the way. That's always good.

Other people there were griping about the buffet being too far from the casino as well.

Just went back, jonesing for the steam boat and those sliders. I suppose I could eat healthy but definitely chose not to. Lots of menu changes. Still interesting. Some hit and miss but really, really great. Today they had tacos al pastor on the rotiserrie and the pizza looked better.

M Resort also has a good buffet..good seafood and free booze is always nice. I like the look of the place...circular design with a very large two-sided buffet line almost the entire diameter of the space. There's a portion of the dining area providing a nice view of the strip & vegas valley. A rather large tv/video screen area on a portion of the surrounding radius wall that advertises the resort happenings, provides the dinner buffet menu and food facts...kinda cool.

I've been there a few times and am completely surprised by the lack of lines. I suppose just not enough people have heard of it yet. It is a bit hidden away in the corner of the second floor, but I figured word of mouth would spread faster. It's better than any buffet I've had here.

Went back to Wicked Spoon at Cosmo this afternoon. Very easy to get to if you know the secret. Look, there has to be a 'right' time to go to the buffet. We went after 2 and you could tell the chefs were waiting for the food to change over to the dinner menu. So this was a fair-good day. Not terrible, but some items were cold when they should have been warm.
